I got a manicure earlier in the week. I was determined to get something metallic since it's in this fall. It isn't exactly the gold that I had in mind but it'll do.

A Little Somethin`

I can see a bit of my wave now! lol okay, you guys may be like WTF but I'm happy to see my new growth, I find myself with my hands in my hair all of the time. I love the feeling. I took these pictures yesterday, before I took my twist out down for my video.

I hope you ladies try it. It's really simple to do, the instructions are in the video so refer to that if you haven't done so already. Remember, you can do as many or as little twists that you want, it all depends on how much volume you want. I usually do about 7 and get BOOOKU volume! lol I love it, but it actually works really nice with only 4. So again, I encourage you all to try this. post pictures, I want to see how it turns out (:

Photo Blast off

Sawubona everyone! That is hello in Zulu, I just picked that up from FLICKR. Since I haven't been a loyal YOUTUBER these days, I will at least let you guys in on some pictures that I've taken through out the week.

I took the picture to the right Saturday morning (OCT 18TH 2008) right before we went over to the school/church to march over to the new building! So exciting, the walk wasn't too bad, but it was hot outside.
I love my curls! TWIST OUT'S ARE THE BUSINESS! Which is one reason why I've decided to go natural. I am actually going on my 7th WEEK SINCE MY LAST RELAXER I am always getting messages asking if I am still going natural, YES ladies (: I am going through with it. My story about the whole relaxer thing is clear enough to let you know that I am a bit traumatized, my scalp has been crying for help so I'm going to do right. It's time for AMBROSIA to work with what she's got! LOL listen to me, talking in 3rd person, just being silly.

I washed my hair WEDNESDAY NIGHT, this is it blow dryed. I'm seeing a bit of growth here:(I AM STILL USING THE SAME HAIR REGIMEN) refer to my YOUTUBE channel for my hair videos. Though I normally do the same thing always, I switch it up a bit depending on what my hair needs. How the weather is changing, and my scalp tends to be a bit dry often.. I'll add some tea tree oil to my conditioner and just sit with that for 30 mins - an hour. So it all depends on what your hair needs that week. AFTER this photo was taken, I flat ironed it. I know, I know, I've been using heat quite often lately, but I'm being very easy on it lol.. you know I don't have my iron on high so it's not horrible.
BUT--It's late and I'm tired, plus I have a few other things that I need to do, so I'm calling it a night. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

He's So Good

GOD that is! He is just so marvelous-- I got baptized last night and it was a wonderful experience. I always knew I would do it but just when the time was right. A little over a month ago I stood up in church, along with my little sister. I let them know that I have accepted the lord as my personal savior. I feel so great and relieved
Good news came today. With the economy being so bad and how hard it is to get a job these days, I got a call stating that I am now an employee for the State of Arizona! "Welcome aboard" that is what he said before we hung up. I sat here with the biggest smile on my face like YES! after 4 months of being here and all of the jobs that I applied for that never replied back I finally get a job that will take me up and beyond with benefits galore! Thank goodness. I'm hoping everything works out well
--on another note--
I know I have been slacking on my YOUTUBE videos. I have actually been really busy, so many things have been around. My family just welcomed the first great grand child into the world today! Thanks to my cousin and her husband lol! I'm so excited. I'll be at the hospital later on tonight once daycare is over. I took over for my mom today so that she could be at the hospital. I admit I was kind of ticked off because I thought she closed the daycare today so we could all be there but she didn't. See, my cousin was suppose to have the baby yesterday so my mom closed up yesterday and not today because they thought she would have the baby sometime yesterday and at the latest..lastnight.
So know that I haven't forgotten about ya'll! TTYL

Back on Track

Hey all how is it going? Good I hope. WELL I have made a decision..I have decided to get back on my styling thing. It's been a little over a year since the last time I've styled for a show and I really have that urge of needing and wanting to do it again. For 2 years, I worked as a freelance dresser for Nordstrom and The Agency Arizona. DRESSING MODELS FOR FASHION SHOWS, making sure all of the tags were put back on the correct garment at the end of the show, and boxing everything up to be shipped back off to the designers. Lots of detail oriented work--which is exactly what I enjoy. I love specifics.

Back In Business

Thank goodness! I got my laptop back yesterday morning, that didn't take long at all. I will begin making videos shortly, I have to re train myself to getting on the ball and posting them quickly for you all. IF THERE IS ANYTHING IN PARTICULAR THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE DEMONSTRATED IN A VIDEO PLEASE POST IT IN MY CHAT BOX OVER TO YOUR RIGHT HAND SIDE PANEL.

UPDATE ON MY HAIR:I have been washing my hair once a week still. I have been rocking it straight all week.


More News + I am trying to get back into my whole styling gigs for fashion shows. I really miss it, the money was good but the feeling I got when I did it was even better. So I'm just going to get on my grind with that until I hear back from the other job that I just interviewed for. That can take up to 90 days (I KNOW! SOUNDS LIKE FOREVER). && As usual, all is well :)

I don't have too much to say right now so I will be back later on when the important stuff come up

Making Moves

As to the title, my Laptop will be making moves very soon. I just packaged it all up and it's ready for shipment. Now all I have to do is find a FEDEX store. I don't think I will be making any videos until it returns. I posted a video today so check that out.

Happy Monday!

If it isn't one thing, it is another. You all know about my videos some how getting switched to .mov files and I finally fixed that problem. But now, my laptops wifi isn't working. This started off and on about 4 days ago, 'cept this time it isn't coming on at all :[ BOO HOOO!
So I'm going to have to send it in to the company for them to fix. They're going to do it for free even though my warranty is up. They said it is a technical error. But its going to take 7-9 days to get it back. For me, that's like saying 2-3 months because I am always on my computer!

This means that I will not be posting any videos for a while. I am still trying to work with it and get it to work again but I am having no luck with this I was trying all last night. Bare with me dolls and dudes lol, I cant for get the .1% if males that watch my channel.

I have been washing my hair once a week with Olive Oil's Creamy Shampoo & I just recently purchased myself some Motions after-shampoo Conditioner, and the Leave in Conditioner. So far everything is meshing well being used together.

I am still going natural. You all know about my last perm. HORRIBLE. I am one that has always wanted to try new things, It wouldn't hurt to try going natural. I love my hair in a kinky state more than in a straight state. I may as well go natural and just flat iron if I want to see length or straightness
